If you’ve already registered for the conference, be sure to book your room at the Vdara Hotel at the discount rate by Saturday, October 1.

is also the last chance to sign up for the Bootcamp for New Center Directors & Program Managers that will be held on Thursday afternoon, October 27, from 1pm to 4:30pm before the kickoff of the conference. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required, and there are only a few spots left, as seating for the Bootcamp is limited. Bootcamp Registration

GCEC Conference:

At the GCEC conference, you will hear from 3 inspiring keynotes, have a chance to select from over 100 panel sessions covering all aspects of university entrepreneurship programs, and network with 500+ of your peers from other institutions. You will have dinner at the Mob Museum on Friday and attend the Saturday Awards Banquet at the Strip View Pavilion, and still have time to catch a show on the Las Vegas Strip!

· The 2022 GCEC Conference is being hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and its Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and we expect the 2022 GCEC Conference to be the largest and best conference to-date! More info: www.gcecvegas.com

Pre-Conference Bootcamp

· At this Bootcamp, you can learn about key issues and problems for new center leaders and strategies to successfully reduce your learning curve. While geared toward new and recently hired center leaders, anyone interested in these topics is welcome to attend.

· The Bootcamp is open to anyone attending the GCEC Conference, as long as space is available. No cost to attend, but advance registration required. It will be conveniently held at the Vdara, the conference host hotel. Register Here

· Bootcamp topics on Thursday afternoon include:

o Providing high quality programs with limited budgets

o Considerations when developing programs: administration, pedagogy, programming, building and scaling

o Maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in building programs

o Role of stakeholders & strategies to manage these relationships

o Understanding incentives of academics and university leadership

o Measuring success: what is their role in developing your center

early bird registration price is $495 through Friday at Midnight, plus $100 individual GCEC membership fee. The registration price increases to $595 after Friday.
